2018 Suzuki VanVan 200 Facts

Small motorcycles have been rising in popularity these days and a few manufacturers are trying to get their piece of the small bike market including Suzuki with their funky new VanVan 200. Savvy buyers these days are more likely to do a bit of research beforehand, which is why Ultimate Motorcycling has compiled a clear list of specifications for the retro-styled scrambler.

Some unfamiliar with the VanVan will question what it is exactly. The 199cc bike with a 1970s vibe is essentially a Scrambler sitting on large street-biased tires. It may look old school, but the VanVan 200 is full of modern features including a motor with electric starting and EFI, single shock aided by a linkage system, and a disc brake up front and a drum in rear.

The little bike is perfect for city riding with a comfortable couch-like seat, though you shouldn’t expect freeway performance from its air-cooled single-cylinder engine. Overall, it’s a real throwback and at an affordable price of just $4,599 each. Buyers can choose between two paint options, black or red, with decals in contracting colors. Wherever the VanVan 200 goes, it’s sure to draw a crowd.

Wow, I don't know how I feel about blue not being offered on the 2018 model, wasn't ready for this. Of all colors to be chopped, didn't think blue would be it. On the flip side it does provide some exclusivity and potential for value increase.

Metallic Triton Blue will be a hot commodity

I feel the blue is a very popular choice so I'm surprised that they're getting rid of that. Keep those blue ones and watch the value climb

I wish I'd been able to get the 2017. It was just like my 1971 TS 250.

I just bought a blue '17 with just over 1000 miles on it. Found it on craigslist in Indiana.

Nice TS.

My local craigslist has a blue RV 125 from 1975 or such. I would have gone to look at it but it is kick start only and I can't handle the kick start these days.

I found limited colours of 2018 Suzuki VanVan. Probably, it is only available in red and black but I like blue the most.

That is funny you say its like a TS250. I rode in high school a TS400. I just bought a 2019 Vanvan... 4 miles on it so far! Waiting to ride on the open road since Im waiting on plates.

Whaddya Pay? I paid $3200 for a blue 2017 with 1054 miles and slightly bent left turn signal and handlebars. Drove 5 hrs for her and worth every penny!
