Thanks, I try. I seriously have no patience for lights and avoid main roads and traffic if humanly possible even if it means racking up more miles. When riding I look for more miles instead of shortest route. That is the whole point of riding for me.

If I lived in a city I wouldn't be riding. My money would be spent on a country place to retire at.

The closest town to my place has 1 flashing yellow light but, thankfully I live out in the country & don't have to put up with all that "Rat Race." My wife & I picked Tennessee from a google earth search of the US & it was the GREENIST patch of the nation without having to deal with arctic winters.

I'm happiest in a place where there are more trees than people. My birth place in S. Florida had become such a crime infested Nanny State that I fled it feeling like the Frankenstein monster chased by torch wielding villagers. Went from a town with 18-34 murders per year to an entire county that has had 4 murders in the 11 years I've been here. Never had anything stolen yet & I leave tools & items out that wouldn't last a week in S. Florida. Still keep my doors locked 24/7 but, most people around here don't.

When I do run into a light in other towns it's because I have a specific destination, so I just sit through it. Not being from around here, I don't know the area as well as the locals. Already learned a bunch of the backroads with the VV though & can get just about anywhere I need to without hitting any roads posted above 50mph.

EDIT: My user name refers to the term "Feral" as in "Escaped from captivity, returned to the wild."

Free speech is literally No.1 on the list of beliefs that make us Americans. NOTHING is more offensive to a true American than censorship.

Garage
Seems to be common based on the posts. After first oil change I had it cut off during idle at a light 3 times. Restarted with no other symptoms. I put it down to bad gas, has not done it since putting in some gas treatment and replacing the gas.

Will keep an eye on it.... Maybe the idle is too low???

I thought that too.

I go inside and carry back to house in a milk crate. I never get a drink.

I get pizza & chicken also.

Yeah. There is a McDonalds and Burger King on my way to work, so I stop on my way in and get food sometimes. My backpack has side pockets for water bottles and it holds a cup pretty well too... lol.

Check valve clearances; they can be very small. Make 0.1 input, 0.12 output.
Perhaps because of this.
