New VanVan owner in Utica, NY

Today I just ordered a brand new 2019 VanVan in orange. I should have it in my garage in about one week. I own several motorcycles of all shapes and sizes, but I've recently developed a strong desire for small displacement bikes.

I plan to spend the winter modifying the bike with parts from Born Moto Co, and Webike Japan. Cosmetically I will probably will end up with a new seat, fenders, signal lights, bars, and Iím considering getting those incredible ďfuckstoneĒ tires. If I go that route, I will likely get the rims powder coated black.

Mechanically, I will definitely change the exhaust and sprocket depending on what I can find. Iíve read a 40T rear sprocket is a great improvement (if I can find it). Not sure if I need to get a complete exhaust, or just the silencer portion. I also need to look into ECU remapping - and if that will even be necessary. I came across this, but Iím not convinced:

Iíd like to be able to get the bike to 70mph if possible. I only weigh about 160.

Any advice would be appreciated!

I’ve stuck a Black Widow exhaust on mine and got it to 70 last time out on the flat, although I reckon with a standard front tyre rather than the fat front tyre it’d probs go quicker, but that’s not what I bought this bike for

The bike arrived at the dealership last week, still waiting for them to deliver it. I've still never seen a VanVan in the flesh, so I'm very excited to see it in person. I already have some new parts sitting in the garage waiting to be installed!
