Garth hows the clutch? 1st gear is super super short standard. Are you the only owner? If not go count your teeth, might have been geared up, as 1st gear should pull anything anywhere

ok persevere with it, engine needs to loosen up a bit as well as the clutch
after about 400 miles should be improved.

Garth I just ordered a 14t front because I like to use mine off road and trails mostly. I spend a lot of time at Land between the lakes west of Clarksville TN. I’ll let you know how it does once I get it installed.

The VanVan 200 has low gears for a reason. Trail riding. Thank God for the low 1st and 2nd when going up and down a long gravel/logging road. Your brakes would melt if those gears weren't like that.

Did you have any progress in finding a 16T front sprocket?
I am wanting the same to exchange my standard 15T front sprocket.

If anyone else reading this can assist I am chasing a suitable 16T front sprocket.
I believe the JT code for the standard 15T is JTF422.15 so is there a JTF422.16?
I was supplied a JTF425.16 and although the pinion configeration matches the tooth profile does not suit...

I just called the Sprocket Specialists and placed an order for a 40T also... and I don't even have my bike yet (2019 in orange)! Hopefully the bike will probably arrive at the same time as the sprocket. Based on reviews I've read, I think this is the best route.

I am trying to make up my mind to change sprockets, any info you can help me with. Rode today for the first time, 1st gear seems way to low for me.
Thanks

Gary
