I do this with all my bikes, but especially a new to me bike.
I live in the country on an oil road, it has a pretty good crown on it.
I start out riding circles either clockwise or counter clockwise. I do 4-5 until I feel comfortable then reverse directions.
Then I do figure eight’s.
Let me tell you with the crown on the road it makes it challenging.
I have a Suzuki gz250 that the foot pegs will actually drag at the peak of the crown if you make to tight of a circle.
On the vanvan I have to slip the clutch sometimes because of low gear being slightly to fast to make the turn before getting into the grass.
Try it on a flat road then look for a road with more of a crown.
