Desert riding Quartzsite Arizona

I have spent the last 12 years in that area in the winter months. I have ridden ATVs, dual sport motorcycles, and sxs there.

If any of you would like to have the adventure of desert riding let me know. I have not ridden the vanvan in the desert yet, but I can tell you it is not as versatile as the Yamaha TW 200. There are places you can ride, but the shocks, ground clearance, and under armor protection as well as torque will limit the places to go.

There are places to go and see, and some I would only go on atv or sxs. I am adventurist, but I no when to turn around on the different trails and say no Iím not going there.

I have ridden in a skewed circle to the east of that town outwards 50-75 miles in most directions. West to the Colorado River. Once I got a sxs side last year and a small trailer I have ventured farther out.

I have also ridden around Williams AZ which is forested.

The Imperial sand dunes or Glamous in Southern California.

Been off roading only in the Jeep thus far in Utah & Colorado.

This is my attempt to upload a picture.

This is in the desert about 30 miles from our house. I donít know if the link will work. Iím new at this.

Anyhow, I had always thought of the desert as flat. There are a lot of small mountains and trails close to our house.
